Dr. Evan Reinhardt grew up in Maui, Hawaii. After completing an LDS mission in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Biology.
He attended medical school in Henderson, Nevada, followed by an internship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York. He then completed family medicine residency at Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
Dr. Reinhardt has spent a great amount of time working and volunteering in community health centers and native tribes. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He speaks English, Portuguese and medical Spanish.
He became interested in medicine due to unfortunate health events in his family. His grandfather suffered a stroke and Dr. Reinhardt helped to take care of him for two years while in high school. He learned the importance of thorough care and empathy.
Dr. Reinhardt’s philosophy is simple. “A physician needs to listen, connect, and understand in order to help achieve a patient’s goals and health needs.”
Dr. Reinhardt is married and has one son. He enjoys time with his family, fitness, golf, hiking, and various sports. He is also an avid Utah Jazz fan.
